How Zynga f.... up my game

So here's the go.. having completed all other levels with the first 3 jobs of 5b fully mastered on level 4 i move on to said jobs. I wonder if doing a job will fix it, it doesn't, i get no mastery and no new jobs to complete so it's obviously not going to fix itself.

Is it really worth the uselessness of submitting a ticket to zynga or should i wait for everyone to be fixed at the same time?

Do we think everyone will get fixed at some point or other or is it every player for themselves?

It's not like it's a rare problem by the looks of it but it's not like zynga can fix much either.

Oh, but wait a minute - i have just read the Release notes... Bug Fixes (2):

Fixed issues with the action and message boxes.

Fixed various bugs with Moscow/Bangkok jobs and free gifts.

That's all right then.. all fixed obviously

Nice fix!

Please Zynga, as i'm approaching level 7 Respect for my gifts, instead of fixing Bangkok and allowing me to continue through the game can you add more levels or replace the gifting with some other rubbish so i can continue to spam my friends FB pages.

Tip - If you wish to beta test something, say las vegas for instance, please do so for more than 5 days, such as Bangkok (but no longer than forever such as robbing last time around), to ensure the value of beta testing anything at all.

For a pretty major fault in the game Zynga sure are taking their time. Kinda shows their priorities and gameplay doesn't seem to be one of them.

Now I can relate to Tomcat's sentiments.

After getting that one night in Bangkok achievement glitch, I lost all my level 3 progress in Pakhan about 23% left from finishing the last job before the boss fight. Haven't touched any job HOPING that Zynga will act on the action ticket that I filed.

Just visited Bangkok, merrily working through commandant on level one and then 5a and 5b open up, 5 a is just open but 5b is level 4 mastered..... no skill points and no bonus item!!!!

I can see Zynga having to do a complete reset of Bangkok at this rate. Lots of people who have got a fair way through BK have got problems already and most people wouldn't have got far enough to find out that they will have problems.

It's also been going on for weeks and they haven't fixed a thing. Which means either they can't fix it or don't want to. Giving them the benefit of the doubt i suspect they would like to fix it as it's a pretty major thing for their users, so that leaves they can't fix it. Probably because each individual case is different and the numbers are too great and Moscow is tied into it too for some. Just too complicated.

Of course, a reset for BK would be pretty huge so who knows? We don't and neither does Zynga apparently.. in the meantime we all just rumble on with the annoyance of a game that doesn't work properly.

My friend has been stuck on Episode 5a for well over a week now and has not been able to collect a single item of 5b loot, which means i don't get any either . He's happy collecting tanto's for the moment but that's only going to be for a day or two longer.

I need some thoughts on this. My farmer has finished BK. But, 5B is locked in chapter 1. It shows complete but the other chapters will not open. It has been this way for two weeks. I have not logged a ticket. The only reason I have not logged a ticket is because this is a farmer in frequently running some level automation.

Do you think that should hold me back from reporting the issue?

That's the exact situation i have, locked at level 4 mastery for the 1st three jobs.

Regardless of the farmer situation submitting a ticket is a waste of time. They either can't fix or don't care enough to fix it.

I submitted a ticket and they apologised and said they were working on fixing it, That was 2-3 weeks ago and nothing has changed and i have given up hope of anything changing anytime soon.

Finally Zynga solved my issue with Bangkok Episode 3.

I waited almost a month after my last ticket and they did nothing to fix it...

Today I decided to submit a ticket for the last time... If they fix it ok, if not I wont bother them again.

After exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes i got this message:

I understand you are having issues with Episode 3 in Bangkok, apparently you are locked out in Chapter 3 and it shows you already have mastered level 11 when you are barely starting with it and obviously there is no such thing as level 11. I truly apologize for this inconvenience. It has taken us quite a while to develop a fix to all of the accounts, but I can assure you we are working on it. I have corrected manually your account by taking off the level 11 mastery from the Episode.

Please kindly check your account as the episode should be updated by now. If you still have inconveniences or you have any other questions with the game, please let me know, I'm always happy to help!!.

Just as a tip:

Did you know that the job "Make An Example Of A Wealthy Industrialist" under Episode 5b in Bangkok loots the "Loyds Spectre"? It has 45 Defense making it the best looted defensive vehicle in the game!!. It will significantly increase your Mafia Defense Power when having the same amount as your Mafia Size. Great deal if you ask me!!.

And my Episode 3 is fixed (well they could restarted it completely - its now on the boss job of the 1 level but Im happy)

They took away all my extra mastery items. Good on them! About time they start fixing this crap. I hope everyone who has shit like this:

a Cocodrilo APC, 500 Mountain Goats

gets banned or at the very least is rolled back to using 501 butterfly knives or something. At least mine was unintentional and NOT exploited.

Mine still hasn't been fixed, but whilst chasing the crew collections by doing the 'Set Up A Drug Shipment To China ' job i must have mastered that job (all of the first three jobs were mastered at level 4 with no other jobs open - just as an update if new to the thread).

So, the 'Intimidate Wealthy Expatriates' job is now open to me, albeit also at level 4 mastery. I'm assuming i can also 'master' this job too which is what i am now attempting. Kinda hard when there is no progress bar for mastery but on the above evidence, if i do the job enough something else will open up.

I might be able to get some Spectre's at last!

This is working for my farmer as well. It looks like lvl4 mastery of 5b must be done again without being able to see mastery progress. OK, whatever. I'll give it a go. Finally in to chapter 2 at least.

My 5b is completely effed up now. I clicked the job help and it said something about going to level 5 mastery, then it wiped me out and put me at just starting level 2 mastery. I'm not going to do it again.

Exact thing happened to me this morning. I still need 400+ Lloyds so I gotta do it all again. I think you still get the skill points ect, but its the time and effort to achieve completion, its gonna take a bit of time.
